The Complex Series comprises 18 interlocking blocks. Together, they form a building-like structure. While the size and spacing of the individual blocks are random, their dimensions are all multiples of the side length and height of the mosaic tiles used. This creates a fascinating interplay of pixel-like surfaces arranged along the X, Y and Z axes that are perfectly coordinated with each other. The various vibrant colour combinations accentuate the individual blocks, lending the entire complex a tropical rhythm despite its mathematical rigour.
